”F**k Cancer” works with two fundamental concepts – The 3 big ones and The 4 small ones. The 4 small ones are:
- Diet
- Exercise
- Restitution
- Mentality
The 4 small ones become the 4 big ones Everybody develops cancer cells, but not everybody develops cancer. Our lifestyle can potentially promote or inhibit the development of latent cancer cells in the body, and that means that the 4 small ones are of varying importance depending on which phase you are in. In the prevention phase and the post-cancer phase the 4 small ones become the 4 big ones – this is where they play the most important role. So make sure to have a strong starting point. Be proactive. Arm your soldiers (the cells of your body). Your effort does not have to be extreme in the prevention phase nor does it have to be after cancer. Eat healthy foods and plants, and if the food you put in your mouth in no way looks like it does in nature – then don’t eat it. Exercise every day – raise your pulse. It does not have to be in a gym. You can head out, power-walk and enjoy the fresh air.
Sleep – get 8 hours of good sleep every night. Bring forth the positive thoughts and surround yourself with people with a positive mindset.
The 4 small ones will always play a role
The 4 small ones will be of less importance during cancer – here, the 3 big ones play the largest role. But combined, the two will create a synergistic effect and really fight the cancer. So, it is a very good investment to combine the two, if you have the energy during your disease. Energy is the key word, because at times the treatment will be so draining that there is just no energy left to focus on the 4 small ones – and that is totally ok. When Chris asked Cal’s oncologist whether the 4 small ones had had an impact on Cal’s cancer the oncologist said: “Maybe”. There are no guarantees, but by combining the 3 big ones and the 4 small ones we give ourselves the best fighting chance.
