Porridge with fresh fruit and cinnamon

  • ½ dl oatmeal
  • ½ dl rye flakes 
  • 2 ½ dl water 
  • Fresh fruit e.g blueberries, strawberries and/or banana 
  • 1 tablespoon linseed, grounded
  • A sprinkle of cinnamon and soyamilk

Mix the ingredients in a deep plate. Cover it and put in the microwave in 2 min at 900 W. Stir and leave the porridge for 2 min before serving. If the porridge becomes to dry, add more water and stir. Eat the porridge with slices of banana and strawberries and/or a small handful of blueberries. You can sprinkle with cinnamon and poor a little soyamilk on the porridge.

If you don´t have a microwave you can cook the porridge in a pot and heat it while stirring.

*Rye flakes are similar to oatmeat, just darker and you can get them organic.

Cancer claims most victims

Heart disease has been the most common killer in Denmark through many years. However recent statistics from Sundhedsstyrelsen show, that cancer is the disease that claims most victims at this point in time.

Eat tomatoes - the best result is achieved when cooked in vegetable oil for example as a tomato sauce.
